Make sure any tent you buy, build or assemble has good ventilation in the winter, because humidity will become a big problem very quickly, making everything damp which will keep you cold. You can double tent, I once used two tents, I placed one tent inside the other to form an air barrier between me and the cold outside world, it worked well, again ventilation is key to keeping humidity down.
