At the Venice Film Festival press convention for his hotly anticipated "Poor Things," director Yorgos Lanthimos stated he actually wished Emma Stone could possibly be on the Lido to talk about, among other issues, the truth that Bella Baxter, the character she performs, has loads of sex scenes in the film. Lanthimos also spoke about hiring Elle McAlpine as the film’s intimacy coordinator. Thirteen years later, Stone has returned to the style in essentially the most messed-up way possible with "Poor Things," the insatiably weird new movie from Greek auteur Yorgos Lanthimos.
