Soccer is the known sporting discipline. the goal of the game hit the ball into the gates of  competitors,  applying  all limbs except the arms.  the win wins the team that  scores more goals .  Football appeared in 1863. England is considered the birthplace of football .  Soccer History  Goal-based entertainment appeared in  BC. tournaments were purely for entertainment . in the 20th century the game became a student pastime.  There were no general rules.
