My opinion here is pretty clear - FOOD FIRST, try to get your nutrients from healthy food, not pills. Avoid calcium - they increase the risk of hardening of the arteries. Get your calcium from dairy products - there are no good plant sources that have an adequate amount. Phosphorous is important as well but is readily available in dairy products, meat, nuts, whole grains and lentils so a deficiency is rare. I think about Calcium first! Calcium is the most abundant minerals in the body. It plays a major role in bone density.  Then, we have Vitamin D,vitamin K, Isoflavones,....
