More than 200 kilograms of liquid methamphetamine worth more than $25 million imported from overseas by an international  syndicate have been seized in a major drug bust.<br>Australian Federal Police officers, in partnership with the National Anti-Gangs Squad (NAGS) found the drugs hidden in a shipment of olive oil on a truck in Fairfield in 's southwest on July 30.<br>The 208kg illicit drug haul had an estimated value of $25.8 million, the equivalent of more than two million street-level deals.<br>The shipment was tracked down as part of AFP's ongoing investigation into international organised crime groups.<br>      (image:  )    The liquid methamphetamine (pictured) seized by AFP was hidden in a shipment of olive oil<br>'Australian-based organised crime groups have an international reach and will collaborate with known offenders residing offshore,' Detective Superintendent Jason McArthur said.<br>'The AFP, working with key partners in the National Anti-Gangs Squad, has successfully prevented this significant quantity of methamphetamine from hitting Australian streets, and stopped millions of dollars of drug profit flowing back into the syndicate to fund future criminal ventures.'<br>'Illicit drugs like methamphetamine in the community create a domino effect of damage to Australians, including domestic violence, increased strain on the health system and community violence, as gangs fight for turf to sell their dangerous drugs.'<br>      (image:  )    Police say an international crime syndicate was responsible for the shipment<br>      (image:  )    The 208kg drug haul (pictured) was equivalent of more than two million street level deals<br>Investigations into how the shipment made its way to Australia's shores continue.<br>No arrests have yet been made. <br>Police have a strong message for those responsible.<br>  RELATED ARTICLES                  Share this article Share    'They should be on notice that we are ready and we are coming for them,' Detective Superintendent McArthur said. <br>NAGS was established in 2014 as a multi-agency law enforcement taskforce targeting organised criminal syndicates, including outlaw motorcycle gangs. <br>For free and confidential advice about alcohol and other drug treatment services call the National Alcohol and Other Drug Hotline on 1800 250 015. <br>      (image:  )    Investigations into how the shipment (pictured) made its way to Australia's shores continue<br>
