We use the "class" field as project numbers. Is there a way to import those? Almost all POs are related to a specific class so it would be helpful to have a pull down for that like there is for customer, etc.

Yes, we have the ability to do that ... fairly easily actually. We already import the classes. We just need to tie them to the POs. Let me ask you this - how are you looking to use the class information? In other words, what types of reports are you looking to create from it?

I a nut shell this is what I am trying to do with OE Companion. We are a service company so don't have any inventory to worry about. I am looking for a way that our users (all Mac except me) can generate a purchase request with the ability for it to be tied to a customer, class and account. This would then go through appropriate approval (really only one person as there are only 7 people at this time). Then the item could be purchased and tracked. The PO would not actually get sent to the vending company in 99% of the cases. There would then be a way to tie back items pruchased either for our company or on behalf of a client within QBOE.

Fortunately you're not alone in your request. We've been working on this exact scenario for a while, as we've had other requests for it. The only pieces missing today are the customer/class tracking on POs, and we're very close to rolling that out. I understand that doesn't help you today, but if you can wait a few weeks it will.
