Just want to say Hello!
As I've mentioned numerous instances earlier than, many of the times Hollywood makes an attempt to remake a film, it fails miserably. Either it tries to vary an excessive amount of of the plot, or the actors don't do as good a job as they did in the unique. However, to be honest, I figured it was time to take a few minutes and compliment the few movie remakes that not solely did the unique justice; they may really be higher than the unique.
For that cause, I want to share my record of the highest Hollywood movie remakes that didn't suck.
My another movie evaluation yow will discover by hyperlink https://www.yojoe.com/include/incs/?bridge_to_terabithia__love__loss__and_friendship___movie_review_by_123movies_haus.html .
War of the Worlds (2005) - To be trustworthy, I think the appearing within the 1953 movie was slightly higher and I just didn't purchase Tom Cruise as a father determine. But, the fashionable special effects technology made an enormous difference and made this movie the version I would recommend seeing.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) - If given a choice between this film and the 1971 Willie Wonka amp; the Chocolate Factory, I would select each as a result of they every make an excellent case. The original was more of a household film while the re-make was a bit darker. In any case, the remake, at very least, was as good as the unique.
The Stepford Wives (2004) - I really watched the 1975 original and this one again-to-again one Saturday morning. I undoubtedly prefer the remake. The acting is a little more plausible and I just like the added twist on the very finish (the one which reveals who was really responsible for building the robotic wives).
Halloween (2007) - When I went to see this movie on the theater, I thought there was no method it will stay up to the unique (filmed in 1978). But, I truly enjoyed this one because it focused a bit more on Michael Myers' childhood and added a bit extra depth to the monster that might later terrorize teenagers.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988) - I truly didn't know this was a re-make of the 1964 film Bedtime Story until I saw the latter on television. While the unique has its deserves, it could't reside up to Steve Martin's efficiency in the remake.
The Pink Panther (2006) - Since we're as regards to Steve Martin, I will also throw this film on the listing. Much like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, both the original and the remake are ok the place it's onerous to decide on between them. But, the remake of The Pink Panther stays on the record as a result of it was pretty much as good as the first.
The Fly (1986) - Much like War of the Worlds, the performing within the 1958 unique was slightly better. But, better make up and know-how made Jeff Goldblum's transformation much more plausible.
King Kong (2005) - Much like other movies on this list, the remake of the 1933 movie of the same name doesn't make it because it was higher; it makes it because it saved plenty of the stuff that made the original nice but added another twists that made the movie unique in its personal way. It complimented authentic with out necessarily outdoing the unique.
Little Shop of Horrors (1986) - First, Audrey II was far more plausible than her 1960 model. Secondly, I liked the actual fact they made this more of a comedy than a horror film. And, the musical performances of men like Rick Moranis and Steve Martin (once more) have been very impressive.
Red Dragon (2002) - Let's be honest, who makes the better Hannibal Lecter; Brian Cox (from the 1986 version, Manhunter) or Anthony Hopkins? The fact Red Dragon is on this record ought to give you my selection.
Scarface (1983) - Not solely is that this film higher than the 1932 version; many individuals I speak to don't even notice the 1932 model (which is about an Al Capone-like gangster) even exists.
